Swimming, Cycling and Running Training Camps - TriPath Triathlon Training Resources, Advice and Tips

Give yourself the best possible start of the season by getting in some warm weather training.

Our partners run training camps both in the UK and abroad. Destinations include Spain, Lanzarote and the Isle of Wight. Each camp is run slightly differently depending on the numbers and what each enrolled athlete would like to focus on.

    Lanzarote Active Sands Resort

The most popular camp run is the active sands camp in Lanzarote. Zoot Athlos has been using this venue for a few years now as the facilities and ride routes are unrivalled. The camp usually runs late-March to early-April and is fully loaded with lots of activities.

Expeditions are available to book through the resort, or if you want to immerse yourself with the coaches and practice and get the
miles in its entirely up to you.

The camp has 2 groups, ranging from more advanced routes to the beginners who want to learn, covering nutrition, race prep, strength and conditioning, transition practice and the resort put on a mini event that is great to get involved in to simulate racing.

The greatest pull to athletes is the uninterrupted road cycling and the 25 meter pool situated just outside the living accommodation, it really is first class.

    Isle of Wight

For those who want to keep it a bit closer to home, we use Air Bnb accommodation in the area of West Cowes where the training is kept close by with open water swimming, great bike routes and
    running both trail and road.

This camp is pitched over a long weekend with the option of a supported bike ride down to Lymington from Bath. The route down is spectacular, taking in amazing views of the new forest.
